Directions:

Row 1:  ch 35, sc in 2^nd ch from hook and the next 33 chs, ch 1, turn (34sc)

Row 2-4: sc in all, ch 1, turn. (34sc)

Row 5: Shells

Row 5: [sc in 1^st sc, skip 1 sc, 5 dc in next sc, skip 1 sc] repeat [ ] across row to last sc, 3dc in last sc, ch 1, turn.

Row 6: sc in 1^st sc, [ 5 dc in sc, sc in 3^rd dc of each shell] repeat [ ] 8 times, join to 1^st sc, ch 3, turn.

Row 7: 2dc in 1^st sc, [sc in 3^rd dc, 5dc in sc] repeat [ ] 7 times, 2dc in last sc, join to top of ch 3, ch 1, turn.

Row 8: Repeat row 6

Row 9: Repeat row 7

Row 10: Repeat Row 6 but don’t ch 1 or turn after joining.

Row 11: ch 4, join to 4^th sc (opposite side), ch 1, turn, sc in 4 chs, slip stitch into sc, ch 3, 2dc in same st as ch 3, [sc in 3^rd dc, 5dc in next sc] repeat [ ] 4 times, sc in back loop of 2^nd sc,, skip 1 sc, 2dc in back loop of next sc, join to top of ch 3, ch 1, turn.
