11.5" Fashion Doll Crochet Dress with Pleated Bodice Pattern

This is an easy dress to make and looks great under a jacket. This is my one of my first patterns. To purchase this dress, please visit my etsy store at KJDollFashions.

This dress is made using a 7 hook (1.65mm) and Size 10 Crochet thread. I used Artiste brand in a pink color.

Abbreviations used:
ch = chain
sc = single crochetsc2tog = single crochet two stitches together

Front Bodice
1: ch 6, sc in 2nd and next 4, ch 1, turn.
2-20: work in back loops only, sc in all, ch 1, turn
21: (Skip 1 side sc, sc in 1 side sc) across, ch 1, sc in 5 chs, ch 1, (Skip 1 side sc, sc in 1 side sc) across, ch 1, join to next sc, tie off.

Back Bodices (Make 2)
1: ch 15, sc in 2nd and all others, ch 1, turn (14)
2-3: sc in all, Ch 1, turn. (14)
4: sc in all, tie off.
Attach at sides to front bodice using a whip stitch in the bottom 3 sc of the Front bodice.

Dress:
Join to back bodice on right side, ch 1, (38)
1-2: sc in all, ch 1, turn
3:  sc -10, sc2tog, sc-14, sc2tog, sc-10, ch 1, turn
4: Sc in all, ch 1, turn  (36)
5: sc-10, sc2tog, sc-12, sc2tog, sc-10, ch 1, turn
6-9: sc in all, ch 1, turn (34)
10: sc-5, 2sc-1, sc-22, 2sc-1, sc-5, ch 1, turn
11:  sc in all, ch 1, turn (36)
12:  sc-4, 2sc-1, sc-5, 2sc-1, sc-14, 2sc-1, sc-5, 2sc-1, sc-4, ch 1, turn
13-14: sc in all, ch 1, turn (40)
15: sc-7, 2sc-1, sc-7, 2sc-1, sc-7, 2s-1, sc-7, 2sc-1, sc-7, ch 1, turn
16: sc in all, ch 1, turn (44)
17: sc-6, 2sc-1, sc-6, 2sc-1, sc-16, 2sc-1, sc-6, 2sc-1, sc-6, ch 1, turn
18-23: sc in all, ch 1, turn (48)
24: sc in all, join to 2nd sc of row 20, ch 1, turn
25: sc in all, join to 1st sc, ch 1, turn
26: sc -8, sc2tog, sc-20, sc2tog, sc-12, join, ch 1, turn
27-28: sc in all, join, ch 1, turn
29: sc – 8, sc2tog, sc-8, sc2tog, sc-8, sc2tog, sc-8, sc2tog, sc-2, join, ch 1, turn
30-39: sc in all, Join, Ch 1, turn
40: sc in all, join, tie off.
 
Straps: (Make 2)
1: ch 11, sc in 2nd and all others, ch 1, turn
2: sc in all, tie off.
Attach straps using a whip stitch to the side of each front bodice.  Then whip stitch other end to the 5th sc of each back bodice. 

Finishing:
Attach 3 small snaps down the back flap and your dress is finished.

  3. Throughout the awesome design of things you actually secure a B+ with regard to effort and hard work. Where exactly you actually lost me personally was first on the details. You know, they say, the devil is in the details… And it couldn’t be much more correct here. Having said that, permit me say to you what did deliver the results. Your text is highly convincing and this is probably the reason why I am making an effort in order to opine. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, whilst I can easily notice a leaps in reasoning you make, I am definitely not convinced of exactly how you appear to unite your details which in turn help to make your final result.
